Births and deaths in England and Wales during 2011

Recent data from the Office for National Statistics has revealed that there were 723,913 live births in England and Wales in 2011, increasing slightly (by 0.1%) from 723,165 in 2010.

A recent UK based survey into the reasons why couples divorce has found that disputes over household chores were the cause of divorce for 30% of couples polled, reports the Daily Mail. Infidelity caused 40% of marriage breakdowns, and drifting apart 35%.
